In a One A Day survey, 70 percent of participants said self-care is a top priority for 2025. Since we are a couple of months into the year now, our team is wondering…How are your New Year resolutions going? Have you stuck with them? Are you feeling motivated?
It can be hard to follow through with goals, but it helps to select a few and take actionable, attainable steps each day.
Kelly Bristow, RDN, LD, a Bayer registered dietitian nutritionist, talked with Well+Good about some of these real, positive actions that can help with overall wellness. And we’re taking that concept a step further: Below, we’ve listed out three of the goals from Bristow’s wellness checklist and suggested custom products that can help in reaching these goals.
All of the products are from Wellness Incentives Plus, meaning they can be imprinted with employees’ names, an association’s motto, specific colors, a brand’s logo, and beyond.
ONE. NUTRITION
Each year, many people try to focus on eating healthier foods, and Bristow has an easy tip to remember when picking, cooking, and plating meals: “The more color variety, the more variation in nutrition you will get.”
How To Follow Through
A blender is helpful here, as you can throw in an array of fruits and veggies, getting in all the colors (and nutrients!) of the rainbow. A big ticket item like this is great for giving away at trade shows or on social media.
Businesses can encourage employees to make healthy choices by including reusable food storage and lunchboxes in onboarding kits.
Plus, you can put nutritious snacks, such as trail mix and protein bars, in swag bags at industry events.
TWO. VITAMINS
Another habit suggested by Bristow is taking a daily multivitamin, to further ensure proper nutrients are received.
How To Follow Through
Help everyone remember to take theirs by supplying everyone with custom-printed pill cases! There are the classic ones that have a compartment for each day, versions with built-in tools like pill cutters or alarms, and even shaker bottles with included pill storage.
THREE. MOVEMENT
Of course, regular physical activity is vital, and Bristow says, “Find things you enjoy doing so you’ll be more likely to stick with it. Start small and try new things: a few short walks at different times of day, stretching or yoga, standing at your desk, or new hobbies like pickleball can make a big difference.”
How To Follow Through
Pickleball is the fastest-growing sport in the country right now, making personal pickleball sets perfect client appreciation gifts.
Yoga gear like mats or resistance bands can be utilized as gifts with purchases, if your brand sells products/services.
Personally, we always recommend fitness tracker watches, as well, one of our best-selling items. Not only are they trendy and stylish, but they assist in staying on track with fitness goals.
These are just a few pieces of health gear that can motivate those around you to stick with their New Year resolutions. Feel free to browse our site for more fitness gift ideas, all ideal for supporting overall wellness!
